Flint is designed as an offline-first note-taking and task management application.
You are not required to create an account or sign in.
To maintain and improve the App, we may collect limited technical information.
Device Information
We may collect information such as:

- Operating system version
- App version
- Device language
- System-provided device identifiers
This information is used solely for compatibility, diagnostics, and improving app performance.
Crash Reports
If the App crashes or encounters unexpected errors, we may collect:
- Crash logs
- Error logs
- Stack traces
These reports help us identify and fix software issues.
Usage Logs
We may collect limited anonymous usage information, including:
- Feature usage
- Screen navigation

This information is used only to improve the user experience and does not identify you personally.

Flint does not collect:

- Contacts

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Your Notes and Tasks
All notes, to-do items, reminders, and other content you create are stored locally on your device.
Flint does not upload your notes or tasks to our servers.
Because Flint does not provide cloud accounts or synchronization, we cannot access, recover, or restore your data if it is deleted, your device is lost, or the App is uninstalled.
4. Notifications and Reminders
Flint may request permission to use:
- Notifications
- Alarm / Reminder scheduling
These permissions are used exclusively to send reminders for tasks that you create.
You may disable these permissions at any time in your device settings.
5. Third-Party Services
Flint uses Firebase to support:
- Crash reporting
- Performance monitoring (where enabled)
Firebase may collect limited technical information, including device information and crash diagnostics, to help improve the reliability and performance of the App.

6. Children's Privacy
Flint is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Data Security
Because your notes and tasks are stored locally on your device, we do not maintain copies of your content on our servers.
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect the limited technical information we receive from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
8. Your Rights
Since Flint does not require user accounts or cloud storage:
- No registration is required.
- No login is required.
- No cloud-stored personal content exists.
You may delete your data at any time by:
- Deleting your notes within the App;
- Clearing the App's data; or
- Uninstalling the App.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any material changes will be reflected in the updated version published with the App.
